Another vital component of our Asset Management Program is our Fleet Services SectionFleet - New Fire Trucks which provide preventive maintenance and repair services for all City vehicles and equipment, as well as those for the Livermore Valley Joint Unified School District, Livermore Pleasanton Fire Department, and the South San Joaquin Fire Authority

The Section also welcomes seasonal trainees as needed.

This Section maintains a computerized fleet management program that tracks operating costs and supports cost-efficient decision making affecting the longevity and safety of the fleet. Staff meets all compliance with applicable regulatory agencies associated with commercial fleet operations including licensing and inspections. Fleet follows a 25-year replacement plan focusing on vehicle usage, condition and follows the Cities Climate Action Plan.

New Bike Lane SweeperThe Fleet Services Section also provides fuel sales and management to Livermore Area Recreation Park District, Alameda County Fire Department, Livermore Valley Joint Unified School District, and Zone 7 Water Agency through a computerized fuel management program.
