DESCRIPTION:<p>Everyone is&nbsp;welcome at <a href="https://www.livermorelibrary.net/about-us/locations-hours-holidays/civic-center" target="_blank">Civic Center Library</a> and <a href="https://www.livermorelibrary.net/about-us/locations-hours-holidays/rincon-library" target="_blank">Rincon Library</a> to decorate the patio with chalk art.&nbsp;Librarians have prepared book lists for all ages. Please see the&nbsp;<a href="https://livermorelibrary.bibliocommons.com/" target="_blank">library’s catalog</a>&nbsp;for book lists on the subject of kindness, inclusion, and bullying prevention.</p><p>October 18-23, Library goers may also put their name or a message of acceptance on a piece of paper. The paper slips will be joined in a chain and used to decorate the Library.&nbsp;</p><p>Unity Day was started by PACER’s National Bullying Prevention Center in 2011 as a way to raise awareness for bullying prevention. Participants are encouraged to wear the color orange and pledge to promote a culture of kindness, inclusion, and acceptance.
