DESCRIPTION:Take & Make craft kits for children, while supplies last. Each craft is inspired by Black inventors, scientists, and entrepreneurs. Kits will include instructions and the specialized supplies necessary to complete the crafts along with information about the scientist, inventor, and entrepreneur. A different craft will be available at each Library encouraging community members to visit each branch. The straw rocket craft is in honor of mathematician Katherine Johnson. The traffic light craft is in honor of inventor Garrett Morgan. The elevator craft is in honor of inventor Alexander Miles.
