Livermore Area Recreation and Park District (LARPD) Ranger Jay Manning will present Camping 101 with LARPD on Sunday, June 29 at 2 p.m. in the Civic Center Library Storytime Room, 1188 S. Livermore Ave. Registration is not required to attend this free program for adults. Summer is a fantastic time to explore the great outdoors through camping. But how best to prepare and where can you go? LARPD Ranger Jay Manning will discuss the ins and outs of camping and share tips to make your trip safe and enjoyable.

All ages can join the fun and sign up (if you haven't already) for Summer Learning at Livermore.beanstack.org or on the Beanstack app. Paper gameboards are also available at all Livermore Library locations. Summer Learning runs until August 6, 2025. Participants who track their reading and activities have a chance to win prizes. Everyone receives a free book just for signing up!
