The Livermore Youth Council (LYC) is a group comprised of Livermore teen residents representing the interests of City of Livermore youth. Meetings create a forum for ideas and concerns where the needs of Livermore youth are communicated to the City of Livermore, Livermore Area Recreation and Park District (LARPD), and Livermore Joint Unified School District (LVJUSD), as well as an opportunity to build community within the City.
Membership is required in order to serve on LYC, but meetings are open to any teenagers wishing to attend. Other organizations may address LYC on an invitational basis only.
