Art of the African Diaspora, in partnership with Richmond Art Center, supports artists of African descent in the Bay Area through representation, professional development, and building a creative community. Today is the last day to visit the satellite exhibit at Civic Center Library in celebration of Black History Month at Livermore Public Library.
On Feb. 28 at 11 a.m., all ages are invited to an artist reception at Civic Center Library. Meet and greet with artists who have artwork featured in the Art of the African Diaspora exhibit.
The Art of the African Diaspora exhibit and artist reception are part of our Black History Month event programming happening through February 28, 2026. Celebrate the history and cultural impact of Black Americans. All are invited to attend the free events and utilize the offered resources and services to learn more about this nationally celebrated month.
Thanks to the support of the Friends of the Livermore Public Library, all Black History Month events are free and open to the public. For more information, please call 925-373-5505.
