Visit any Livermore Public Library location to take the Unity Pledge.
The Livermore Public Library and City of Livermore are celebrating Unity Week, Oct. 13-17, with LVJUSD and LARPD, and we hope you join in on the activities. In recognition of National Bullying Prevention and Awareness Month, we invite you to participate in the activities below.
- Monday, October 13: Take the Unity Pledge in person at any of our library locations (Civic Center, Rincon, or Springtown) to promote and show your support for Kindness, Inclusion and Acceptance for everyone in Livermore.
- Tuesday, October 14: Paint a rock with encouraging messages of Kindness, Inclusion, and Acceptance. Instructions and supplies will be provided.
- Civic Center Library: 4 - 6 p.m.
- Rincon Library: 4 -5 p.m.
- Springtown Library: 4 -5 p.m.
- Wednesday, October 15: Wear and share orange on Unity Day to promote Kindness, Inclusion and Acceptance in recognition of National Bullying Prevention and Awareness Month. Share photos on social media with hashtag #UnityDayLivermoreCA
- Thursday, October 16: Random Acts of Kindness. Surprise a friend, neighbor, or stranger with an unexpected gesture of kindness to spread positivity and build unity in our community.
