Matt Berry will present an Armchair Travelers program entitled “Walking the Via de la Plata and Camino Sanabrés from Sevilla to Santiago de Compostela.” Registration is not required to attend this free program for adults which will be held in in the Civic Center Library Storytime Room, 1188 S. Livermore Ave. Matt’s journey was one of the lesser-travelled routes of the Camino de Santiago in Spain. Originally a Roman military road, and later a medieval pilgrimage route, the route features many more historic Roman settlements than found on the Caminos in northern Spain. Walking from Sevilla to Santiago de Compostela in the spring of 2025 covered (officially) 1,007 km and took 45 days.
